NISSAN TO BEGIN LOCAL PRODUCTION IN VIETNAM | Date: 30-06-2009
HANOI (30 June 2009) – Nissan Vietnam Co. Ltd. (NVL) announced today that it will start local production and launch its first model assembled in Vietnam by 2010. The Nissan model will be assembled by Vietnam Motors Corporation, an existing automotive assembler, and will be distributed by NVL. Guidance and quality control for the assembly of Nissan automobiles will be provided by engineers from Nissan Motor Co. Ltd., Japan.
